Our Sales Engineering team at Perforce is searching for a Senior Presales Engineer to join the team. We are looking for an individual who has the ability to partner with the Regional Sales Manager to provide customers with technical information to help them make the decision to purchase the Delphix platform. This position would help a company highlight the abilities Delphix has in securing sensitive data as well as virtualizing data and providing the ability for testing teams, developers, and analysts to rewind or refresh their own copies of data or refresh that data in minutes. This position provides many opportunities to work with customers and showcase the Delphix platform.
Responsibilities
- Presenting and demonstrating details about the Delphix platform including adapting the demonstration based on the customers' needs.
- Providing information and documentation to customers to help them understand details of the platform and to help customers understand the ROI.
- Completing requests for information.
- Building and sustaining customer relationships throughout the sales process.
- Serving as the technical lead in pre-sales engagements, from discovery through technical close.
- Conducting technical deep dives and answering in-depth product/architecture questions.
- Scoping, managing, and conducting Workshops or Proof of Value engagements to prove the value of the Delphix Solution.
- Conveying the Business Value to the customer in an articulate manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or a computer technology related degree.
- 3-5 years experience in a presales technology role.
- 5-8 years experience in test data management, building development or test systems, or experience as a developer, test engineer, or in data management.
- Experience in data management, database administration, software development, or testing.
- Preferred experience in software presales.
