As our NPD Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving new products from concept through to launch. You will own the end-to-end NPD process from a project management perspective, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to PerfectTed’s quality standards. This role sits at the centre of the business. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, bringing structure, pace, and clarity to a fast-moving innovation pipeline as the brand continues to scale rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management & Delivery
- Own and manage the full NPD critical path from concept approval through to launch.
- Build, maintain and track project timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, flagging risks and resolving issues proactively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the central point of contact between NPD, operations, marketing, commercial, and supply chain teams.
- Coordinate inputs across teams to ensure alignment and smooth handovers.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Launch & Scale-Up Support
- Coordinate factory trials, first productions, and scale-up activities with manufacturing partners.
- Ensure all technical, operational, and commercial requirements are met ahead of launch.
- Support post-launch reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Process & Organisation
- Maintain accurate documentation including timelines, specifications, and launch trackers.
- Help improve and standardise NPD processes as the business scales.
- Support forward planning of the innovation pipeline.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years’ experience in NPD or project management within FMCG, food, or beverage.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience in beverages or functional food.
- Experience working with co-manufacturers or external suppliers.
- Understanding of food compliance, packaging, or specifications.
- Experience in startup or scale-up environments.
