Overview
PerfectTed is on a mission to spread positive energy — helping people feel energised, focused, and ready to take on the day, without compromise. We are the UK’s first matcha-powered energy drink and Europe’s leading matcha brand, redefining what energy should feel like: no crashes, no junk — just clean matcha caffeine. Built by a founder-led team, we’ve become one of the fastest-growing energy and tea brands in the UK — and we’re only just getting started.
We’re looking for a High Street National Account Manager (NAM) to own and accelerate PerfectTed’s presence across key high-street and specialist retail accounts, including Holland & Barrett, WHSmith, Boots and similar accounts. This is a commercially accountable role with full ownership of account strategy, JBP delivery, forecasting, promotions, and P&L performance. You’ll be responsible for driving distribution, rate of sale, and profitable growth while acting as the voice of your accounts internally.
At PerfectTed, we live by our core virtues — Progress, Resilience, Intensity, Consistency and Entrepreneurialism (PRICE). If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and want real ownership, this role is for you.
Responsibilities

Own and manage PerfectTed’s High Street retail accounts end-to-end, with full P&L responsibility.
Build and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned to PerfectTed’s commercial and brand objectives.
Drive distribution gains, range expansion, and NPD listings across your accounts.
Develop strong, credible relationships with buyers and wider account stakeholders.
Own forecasting, budgeting, and account-level financial performance.
Manage pricing, trade spend, and promotional mechanics to deliver profitable growth.
Track and report on rate of sale, distribution, margin, and promotional ROI.
Identify risks and opportunities, proactively course-correcting where needed.
- Promotional Planning & Execution
Plan and deliver promotional calendars that drive awareness, trial, and ROS uplift.
Work cross-functionally to ensure flawless execution in-store and online.
Review post-promo performance and continuously optimise future activity.
- Data, Insights & Execution Excellence
Analyse sales data, shopper behaviour, and market trends to inform account strategy.
Work closely with field sales to drive in-store compliance, availability and visibility.
Translate data into clear actions and recommendations for internal teams.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as the key internal lead for your accounts across Marketing, Operations and Finance.
Ensure seamless communication and alignment across teams.
Contribute to wider commercial thinking and best-practice sharing within the team.

1-2+ years’ minimum FMCG sales experience, ideally managing high-street or specialist retail accounts.
Proven experience owning accounts with commercial and P&L accountability.
Strong understanding of the UK FMCG retail landscape.
Excellent analytical skills with strong Excel proficiency.
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- The Ideal Candidate Is
Highly commercial and outcome-focused.
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable operating with pace and ambiguity.
Detail-driven but able to think strategically.
Resilient, adaptable, and calm under pressure.
A team player who thrives in a high-growth, high-ownership environment.
