Role Overview
PerfectTed is on a mission to spread positive energy and help people feel their best—energised, focused, and ready to take on the day, without compromise. We're the UK's fastest-growing energy drink brand and Europe's leading matcha company, redefining what energy should feel like: no crashes, no junk—just matcha's clean caffeine to fuel your best self.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who has already navigated the hardest part of scaling a brand — and knows exactly what it takes to do it again.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the direction for how PerfectTed makes its products across RTD drinks, powders, pods, and future formats
- Build and manage a network of world‐class co‐manufacturing partners
- Develop the production roadmap that supports global scale, and create the organisational structure to deliver it
- Own our sourcing strategy for matcha, ingredients, and packaging at a senior level
- Build long‐term, strategic supplier partnerships across multiple countries and negotiate agreements that protect quality, cost, and supply security as we grow
- Oversee the systems and team that keep supply aligned with demand
- Ensure we always have the capacity, visibility, and contingency to support commercial growth without operational drag
- Partner with the NPD team to ensure every new product is manufacturable, commercially viable, and ready to scale from day one
- Own our cost of goods at a strategic level
- Set targets, track performance, and drive a culture of continuous improvement — without ever compromising the quality that defines the brand
- Lead, mentor, and develop a growing supply chain team across planning, procurement, logistics, and operations
- Create scalable processes, systems, and reporting structures that support rapid growth
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in supply chain, manufacturing, or operations within FMCG, food, or beverage
- Proven track record scaling a brand through a significant growth phase
- Deep experience managing co‐manufacturers and building strategic supplier partnerships
- Strong commercial acumen — you understand COGS, margin levers, and how to move them
- Experience building and leading high‐performing teams
- Highly organised, independent, and great with follow‐through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Apps, Notion, Google Drive, and Excel
- Background specifically in beverage manufacturing
- Familiarity with Netstock, Unleashed, or similar ERP tools
- Experience in a challenger brand or founder‐led business
Who Thrives Here
You've done this before and you're hungry to do it again — at a brand with real momentum behind it. You think in systems, lead with clarity, and have the commercial instincts to know where to prioritise. You're energised by building, not just maintaining.
