At PerfectTed, we believe in PRICE - our core virtues that shape everything we do:

  • Resilience – Challenges don’t stop us; they push us to be better.
  • Intensity – We move fast and execute with passion and purpose.
  • Consistency – Greatness comes from showing up every day.
  • Entrepreneurialism – We take ownership, think outside the box, and find solutions.

Built with purpose and growing fast, we’re scaling from startup to household name - and we’re looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to help lead the charge.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a sharp, commercially minded finance professional with strong technical grounding and the ability to think strategically across the business. You’ll work closely with founders and department heads, translating data into insight, enabling smart decision-making, and building scalable finance infrastructure. This is an ideal role for someone who combines financial control and FP&A experience with a hands-on, business-partnering mindset. If you’re comfortable moving between financial reporting, margin analysis, and big-picture strategy - you’ll thrive here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales, marketing, and ops teams to drive financial insight and performance.
  • Develop commercial models to support pricing, product launches, partnerships, and expansion.
  • Own KPIs and performance dashboards across key business functions.
  • Support budget planning, annual strategy cycles, and investment appraisals.
  • Produce monthly management reports, board packs, and ad hoc performance analysis.
  • Analyse gross margin, profitability by channel/customer, and core cost drivers.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to improve commercial outcomes.
  • Maintain dynamic financial models and cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor actuals vs forecast and flag risks, variances, and opportunities.
  • Support scenario modelling and long-term business planning.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial control alongside our Junior Finance Manager.
  • Ensure accurate month-end processes, supplier payments, and cashflow management.
  • Lead continuous improvement of finance systems, tools, and processes.

You’ll Need

  • 5+ years’ experience in finance, including roles in FP&A, financial control, or commercial finance.
  • Strong financial modelling and forecasting skills.
  • Experience preparing management reports and analysing business performance.
  • Comfortable advising senior stakeholders and influencing decisions with data.
  • Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and financial software (e.g. Xero, Pleo).
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
  • UK right to work.
  • Background in FMCG, e-commerce, or high-growth consumer brands.
  • Experience with stock, supply chain, or retail channel finance.
  • Exposure to budgeting tools, dashboarding platforms, or investor reporting.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A confident communicator and natural business partner.
  • Commercially aware and curious, with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organised and proactive - you anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Passionate about consumer products, health, and scaling something meaningful.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary + EMI equity options (real upside in a fast-scaling brand).
  • All the matcha you can drink.
  • Work with inspiring, high-performing teams - including Steven Bartlett’s Flight Story.
  • Huge opportunity for impact, ownership, and growth.
