Key Responsibilities

• Analyse Nielsen/IRI/EPOS data to uncover trends, whitespace, and performance gaps.
• Build and maintain reports on ROS, distribution, rate of sale, and market share.
• Turn data into compelling sell‑in decks and stories that resonate with buyers.
• Lead category reviews and range reviews with buyers.
• Recommend tailored strategies for key accounts based on category dynamics.
• Work with the Sales team to build compelling commercial arguments for growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand distribution and optimise SKU performance.
• Benchmark competitor performance and PerfectTed's position within category.
• Monitor and evaluate compliance and activation effectiveness across retailers.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing to align brand and category messaging.
• Support NPD launches with insight‑led strategy.
• Work closely with Finance on trade terms analysis and forecasting.

Requirements

Must‑Haves

• 2–4 years of experience in a category, commercial, or insights role within FMCG.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data platforms like Nielsen or IRI.
• Highly organised, independent, and great with follow‑through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Apps, Notion, Google Drive, and Excel.

Nice‑to‑Haves (but not necessary)

• Experience in a startup or high‑growth brand environment.
• Experience working directly with major UK grocery retailers.
• Experience supporting NPD and go‑to‑market launches.
