Overview
We are recruiting an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer for one of the largest FM service providers located in Canary Wharf.
Position: Continental Shift Maintenance Engineer.
Type: Permanent. Immediate start on a notice period consideration. The role will involve a rotating day shift rota with weekend work on a roster basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on plant and building equipment.
- Execute preventative maintenance programmes.
- Carry out reactive maintenance works.
- Liaise with client representatives regarding work issues.
- Liaise with building facilities teams to ensure shared landlord and tenant systems operate correctly.
- Undertake further training as required.
- Conduct PPM works – filter changes, AHU, pumps, MOT, service, PPM SFG20.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full Electrical or Mechanical qualifications at least City & Guilds or equivalent (NVQ 2 or 3).
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Regulations (desirable).
- Commercial maintenance experience.
- Fault‑finding abilities.
- Legionella awareness L8 (desirable).
- Outstanding work ethic.
