Job Description

Job Title: Motor Mechanic

Location: Chingford, London

Salary: Up to £45,000 per year + benefits

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent - Monday-Friday with some weekend availability.

Are you a skilled Automotive Mechanic with a passion for the automotive industry? At Perfect Touch Performance, we're looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and grow with us.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify any mechanical issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems
  • Perform necessary repairs and replacement of faulty parts
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre replacements and filter replacements
  • Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for mechanical repairs
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
