My client is a very well established manufacturer of HVAC equipment, who are part of a European wide group of companies. They are seeking an experienced engineer with experience in mechanical and electrical engineering. This is an office/workshop based role which co-ordinates between the customer and the Sales Engineers, providing calculations for the equipment to be manufactured.
Based in the office in Borehamwood, Herts, you must have excellent written and spoken English Language skills to be able to communicate effectively with the teams and customers. Using in house systems, AutoCAD and working with P&IDs, you will be co-ordinating a project from start to finish.
Key tasks include day-to-day responsibility for the generation of technical quotations by understanding the customers' needs. This will include system flow and pipe work pressure drop calculations to ensure the accurate application of Steam Generators, Fire Tube Steam Boilers, high temperature Thermal Fluid Heaters, Process Air Heaters and Gaseous Effluent Thermal Oxidisers. Also the completion of project engineering checks and the preparation of commissioning specifications, along with providing pre and post sales applications support to the Company’s External Sales and Internal Engineering functions.
