My client is a very well established manufacturer who are seeking an experienced engineer with experience in mechanical and electrical engineering. This is an office/workshop based role which co-ordinates between the customer and the Sales Engineers, providing calculations for the equipment to be manufactured. Based in the office in Borehamwood, Herts, you must have excellent written and spoken English Language skills to be able to communicate effectively with the teams and customers. Key tasks include day-to-day responsibility for the generation of technical quotations by understanding the customers needs This will include system flow and pipe work pressure drop calculations to ensure the accurate application of Steam Generators, Fire Tube Steam Boilers, high temperature Thermal Fluid Heaters, Process Air Heaters and Gaseous Effluent Thermal Oxidisers. Also the completion of project engineering checks and the preparation of commissioning specifications, along with providing pre and post sales applications support to the Company’s External Sales and Internal Engineering functions. If you are a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a good understanding of electrical engineering for the controls of the products, have at least 3 years experience in a similar role then please apply now
