My client is a well established family business based in Hemel Hempstead, who as part of their expansion are seeking a highly organised individual with experience of estimating on construction projects and project managing smaller projects. This is an office based role using simPRO database and other estimating software. The role and responsibilities will include:
- Produce electrical quotations for small projects
- Obtain costs/quotations from sub contractors and specialist material suppliers
- Build and develop relationships with suppliers and sub contractors
- Follow up all quotations
- Producing RAMS and Construction phase plan
- Attend pre start meetings usually online but occasionally face to face
- Procurement of materials and arranging logistics
- Record all projects
- Handover completed projects
The projects you will be working on will be dealing with electrical changeovers mainly and the projects will be around 2 weeks in duration. Working in a great team based in Hemel Hempstead, Herts reporting to the MD. Seeking a person with good experience in the electrical or construction related industry who has worked in a similar role. Must have exceptional communication skills and highly IT literate with a good knowledge of estimating software and/or simPRO.
Hours Monday to Friday 8 am to 4.30 pm, 20 days holiday, a days holiday for your birthday, private medical, pension etc. Salary negotiable for the right person. Immediate start available.
