Citizen Machinery is a CNC machine tool specialist manufacturer supplying the latest CNC turning technology to UK industry with both the Miyano and Cincom brand (fixed head and sliding head lathes). The locations we are looking for someone to live in are Birmingham or Bristol areas, although during training you will be shadowing other engineers.

As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced CNC service technician, either who has been working on the shop floor maintaining CNC machines and who would be interested in moving into a field-based role and joining Citizen on a career path, or aspires to move into a service role having completed an engineering apprenticeship.

You will be working on the warranty side of the business and the role will include:

  • Full training given to service fixed and sliding head machines for warranty purposes
  • Providing standard warranty servicing on client sites
  • Using electrical and mechanical skills
