Looking to leave restaurant hours behind without leaving pastry? We're recruiting for an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join a growing food production business in Warrington. This role is perfect for a pastry chef from a high-volume hotel, banqueting operation, bakery, event catering company, production kitchen or premium restaurant who enjoys producing exceptional products with consistency and quality. The Role

Working as part of an experienced production team, you'll help oversee the day-to-day pastry operation, ensuring products are made to the highest standards while maintaining consistency across larger production volumes. You'll support production planning, maintain quality standards and work closely with the wider team to deliver outstanding pastry products. As the business continues to grow, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to new product development and R&D.

We're Looking For

  • We're particularly interested in chefs with experience in high-volume pastry production.
  • Strong pastry skills across a wide range of products.
  • Experience working in busy, high-volume kitchens or bakeries.
  • Experience following recipes and production specifications accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Experience supporting, coaching or supervising other chefs.
  • A passion for consistency, organisation and continuous improvement.

Experience from 4 & 5-star hotels, large restaurants, banqueting venues, event catering, artisan bakeries or food production environments would all be highly relevant.

What's On Offer

  • £33,000 - £35,000 salary.
  • Monday to Friday working 6:00am - 3:30pm shifts.
  • No weekend work (overtime available if wanted).
  • Christmas closure, including Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
