We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established 4-star countryside hotel in the Wigan area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, friendly kitchen. The hotel caters for corporate dining, conferences, weddings, private events and daily restaurant service. The kitchen uses a sensible mix of fresh preparation and quality pre-prepared ingredients, allowing the team to deliver consistently without unnecessary pressure.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Preparing and serving high-quality dishes for restaurant and event service
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
  • Running your own section confidently during quieter services
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation
  • Working closely with a reliable, supportive kitchen team
