A great opportunity for an experienced CDP to join a developing kitchen team
Perfect Recruitment are working with a well-established countryside hotel in the Newton Aycliffe area of County Durham, who are looking to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to join their busy kitchen team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie looking for stability, progression and the chance to develop their skills under new kitchen leadership.
The hotel operates a busy and varied kitchen, covering restaurant service, weddings, functions, events, coach tours and hotel dining. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where organisation, consistency and teamwork are key.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you'll take responsibility for your own section and play an important role in delivering smooth and consistent service across the kitchen.
Working alongside the Sous Chef, Head Chef and wider brigade, you'll help prepare and deliver quality dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation.
You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills as part of a kitchen team that is being built and developed under a new Executive Chef.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis Chef ready to take the next step
- Good experience working with fresh ingredients and quality food
- Confidence running your own section during busy service
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and kitchen safety
- A reliable, positive and hardworking approach
- A genuine passion for food and willingness to learn and develop
- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy kitchen brigade
