We are working with a fantastic hospitality group in the Oldham area looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Roaming Assistant Manager to support their growing operation across three unique venues. This is not a site-based role. The successful candidate will work across all three locations as required, supporting management teams, driving standards, and ensuring excellent guest experiences throughout the business. The venues include a busy gastro pub, a quality fine dining restaurant, and a thriving catering and events operation, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in fast‑paced hospitality environments.
The Role
- Supporting the day‑to‑day management across multiple venues
- Leading teams during service and maintaining high operational standards
- Delivering exceptional customer service and guest experiences
- Assisting with staff training, development, and motivation
- Supporting events, functions, and busy trading periods as required
- Working closely with senior management to ensure consistency across all sites
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar hospitality management role
- Strong background within busy gastro pubs, restaurants, or quality hospitality venues
- Excellent food, wine, drinks, and cocktail knowledge
- Outgoing, friendly, and highly personable with strong leadership skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across multiple locations
- Personal Licence desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle preferred due to location
