We are recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join a vibrant pan‐Asian / sushi concept in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh, healthy ingredients in a modern kitchen environment, with a strong focus on quality and consistency.

The venue offers a great work‐life balance with a 40‐hour week, flexible 4 or 5 day working pattern, and no late‐night finishes.

The Role

  • As Sous Chef you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
  • You will play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting the team, and delivering consistently high‐quality dishes during service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Head Chef with the day‐to‐day running of the kitchen.
  • Leading service and ensuring food is delivered to a high standard.
  • Managing and motivating the kitchen team.
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering and supplier management.
  • Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety and kitchen compliance standards are met.
  • Supporting with menu execution and maintaining consistency across dishes.
  • Standing in for the Head Chef when required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous.
  • A background in pan‐Asian, sushi or Asian‐inspired cuisine.
  • Strong service leadership and organisational skills.
  • Experience with fresh food, high standards and quality ingredients.
  • The ability to train, motivate and support a kitchen team.
  • A positive attitude and passion for modern Asian cooking.
