Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)

The Opportunity

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Euxton for an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a varied role with genuine scope for progression and the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As part of the finance team, you'll primarily be responsible for Purchase Ledger duties while also providing support across the wider business, including reception and the Health & Safety department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Providing reception cover as required
  • Supporting the Health & Safety department with administrative tasks
  • General administration and ad hoc duties

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous Purchase Ledger experience (essential)
  • Is organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and finance systems
  • Can manage a varied workload and work effectively as part of a team
