The Role- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy, food-led operation
- Lead, motivate, and develop the FOH team to consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences
- Maintain exceptional standards across service, food, and drink
- Take an active role in stock control, ordering, and stock reporting
- Support P&L performance, understanding margins, labour control, and cost management
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and team development
- Deputise for the GM when required and help drive overall business performance
- Proven hospitality management experience, ideally within a food-led or premium pub/inn environment
- Confident with financials — including P&L awareness, GP control, stock management, and basic reporting
- Hands-on, organised, and comfortable leading from the front
- A big personality with strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
- Passionate about fresh food, quality drinks, and genuine hospitality
- Calm under pressure and confident in a busy, high-volume setting
- Ambitious, commercially aware, and keen to grow with the business
- Up to £32,000 per annum including service charge (based on 45 hours per week)
