The Role
  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy, food-led operation
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the FOH team to consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences
  • Maintain exceptional standards across service, food, and drink
  • Take an active role in stock control, ordering, and stock reporting
  • Support P&L performance, understanding margins, labour control, and cost management
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and team development
  • Deputise for the GM when required and help drive overall business performance
About You
  • Proven hospitality management experience, ideally within a food-led or premium pub/inn environment
  • Confident with financials — including P&L awareness, GP control, stock management, and basic reporting
  • Hands-on, organised, and comfortable leading from the front
  • A big personality with strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
  • Passionate about fresh food, quality drinks, and genuine hospitality
  • Calm under pressure and confident in a busy, high-volume setting
  • Ambitious, commercially aware, and keen to grow with the business
