We’re looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead a recently refurbished, community-focused café that takes pride in great coffee, fresh food, and genuinely warm service. This isn’t a “head office box-ticking” role — it’s about running the space day-to-day, leading from the floor, and building a team that actually cares about what they do.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Running daily café operations and leading the team on shift
  • Setting the standard for service, food quality, coffee and presentation
  • Getting stuck in — this is a hands-on leadership role, not an office job
  • Managing stock, ordering, compliance, H&S and hygiene standards
  • Driving a strong customer experience and handling feedback properly
  • Supporting training, onboarding and development of the team
  • Helping out with events, catering and occasional site support when needed

  • Background in café / restaurant / hospitality management
  • Barista experience (coffee quality actually matters here)
