Perfect Recruitment are working with a longstanding, family-owned Italian restaurant in the Bolton area to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to join their established kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity to join a business built around traditional Italian values, fresh food and high standards, with a strong reputation within the local community.
We’re looking for a confident and experienced CDP who takes pride in their food and enjoys working in a busy, fresh-food environment.
A background in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine would be ideal, although candidates with strong experience in high-volume, fresh-food kitchens will also be considered.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your section to a consistently high standard, ensuring food is prepared and presented correctly while maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking fresh food to a consistently high standard
- Managing your section during busy service periods
- Completing daily preparation and mise en place
- Maintaining excellent standards of food presentation and quality
- Working efficiently within a high-volume kitchen environment
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
- Supporting the wider kitchen team when required
- Completing section and kitchen clean-downs
- Following company procedures and maintaining kitchen standards
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have
- Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef ready to progress
- Experience within a busy, fresh-food kitchen
- Ideally, a background in Italian or Mediterranean cooking
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive and professional attitude
- High standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation
- The ability to remain calm and efficient during busy services
- A genuine interest in progression and developing your culinary skills
