About the Role As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of their bistro, maintaining high standards, and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers. You will: * Support the Manager in overseeing daily operations and take responsibility in their absence. * Maintain professionalism and uphold the highest service standards. * Work in a fresh food-focused establishment where quality is paramount. * Lead by example, inspiring and motivating your team. * Mentor, guide, and support all staff members. * Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues efficiently to ensure satisfaction. * Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed. About You We’re looking for someone who is: ✔ Experienced – Previous experience in a similar role is essential. ✔ Personable & Customer-Focused – A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality. ✔ Highly Organised – Able to multitask, stay composed under pressure, and lead effectively. ✔ Committed to Excellence – High standards of service, presentation, and professionalism. ✔ Knowledgeable – Understanding of health & safety regulations (Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred). ✔ Reliable & Flexible – Open, honest, and able to work weekends when required. ✔ First Aid Certified – Preferred but not essential.
