About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production/Warehouse Operative to join our team.
This role involves supporting both the production and warehouse functions, ensuring products are manufactured, packed, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently.
You will work as part of a team to maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with machine set-up and changeovers where required.
- Pack, label, and prepare finished products for storage or dispatch.
- Pick, pack, and move stock within the warehouse.
- Load and unload deliveries using appropriate equipment (where authorised).
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain accurate stock and production records when required.
- Keep production and warehouse areas clean, organised, and safe.
- Report equipment faults, stock issues, or quality concerns to the Production Supervisor.
- Follow all company procedures and health and safety policies.
- Work flexibly across production and warehouse areas to meet business needs.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is an advantage but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
