Pay: £12.71-£14.53 per hour Job Description: Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. This role involves selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong materials handling skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with warehouse management systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations. All roles are paid positions, including internships. The role is available for both days and nights. Days - 6am-3pm Nights - 3pm-2am Responsibilities * Efficiently pick items from stock based on order specifications using appropriate materials handling equipment. * Pack products securely to ensure safe transportation and delivery. * Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and effectively when required. * Manage stock levels through accurate stocktaking and updating of the warehouse management system (WMS). * Prepare shipments by loading and unloading goods from lorries or containers, ensuring proper handling and documentation. * Conduct quality control checks to verify accuracy and condition of items before dispatch. * Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including processing inbound deliveries and outbound orders. * Maintain organisation of storage areas, ensuring items are stocked correctly and easily accessible. * Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or damage during handling and movement of goods.
