We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator with a minimum of 3 years experience in the joinery industry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and manufacturing information for bespoke joinery projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications, manufacturing requirements, and project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects.
- Prepare manufacturing and workshop drawings for production.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and design briefs.
- Liaise with designers, project managers, production teams, and site personnel to ensure technical accuracy.
- Amend drawings following design reviews and client feedback.
- Create cutting lists, material schedules, and component details where required.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and relevant industry regulations.
- Support production by resolving technical queries and providing drawing revisions.
- Maintain organised drawing records and document control.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a CAD Operator within the joinery, cabinetry, or bespoke furniture industry.
- Strong understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.
