I'm recruiting an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a leading insurance client entering a busy delivery phase — major projects going live this autumn, with a healthy pipeline to follow.
This is a genuine Outside IR35, fully remote contract running to year-end, with real longevity on offer (their contractors tend to stick around). You'll sit within the infrastructure team, working directly on the production environment.
What you'll be doing:
- You'll come in as a hands-on Azure all-rounder, helping bring current projects home.
- Taking HLDs through to technical stories and delivery, provisioning servers, onboarding services, working with serverless components, promoting releases to production, and troubleshooting inherited Terraform — all under proper change governance.
What I'm looking for:
- Strong, infrastructure-focused Azure expertise — a true all-rounder
- Solid Terraform, including fixing inherited code (key requirement)
- Release promotion through to production
- Comfortable working in a regulated, production environment
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry or APIM experience well received
- Some AWS
