Job Description
Senior Network Engineer – Enterprise Projects
Hybrid working – South East England 2x days onsite a week
Salary: Excellent plus bonus and benefits
We're working with a Managed Services Provider delivering complex IT transformations for global enterprises, and we're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to strengthen the team.
The role:
This is a hands-on role spanning detailed design, project delivery, and escalated support (4th line). You'll be integral to building resilient and secure networks for key major enterprise customers.
You will:
- Deliver network solutions for key clients involving routing, switching, Firewalls, and load balancing.
- Lead on complex troubleshooting and escalations across enterprise environments.
- Manage incidents, problems, changes, and requests against agreed SLAs.
- Utilise monitoring and ITSM platforms to maintain service excellence.
- Provide input into architecture and design discussions with senior client stakeholders.
Skills and experience:
- Experience of working closely with senior enterprise client stakeholders for complex networking projects.
- Cisco CCNP-level certification and proven enterprise networking background.
- Strong experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
- Palo Alto Firewall knowledge.
- A keen interest in automation (Ansible/Terraform),
- Cisco ISE, DNA Center (DNAC)
- Advantageous: VMware NSX, F5 Load Balancing, Nutanix Flow, SD-WAN.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and clear, confident communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
