The Role The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing existing relationships, converting warm leads, and identifying new business opportunities across their specialist technology portfolio. You'll work directly with clients in the commercial and high-end residential sectors, managing the entire sales process from initial engagement to project handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, upsell, and cross-sell into a healthy base of existing accounts
- Nurture and convert a steady stream of warm leads and inbound enquiries
- Proactively prospect and generate new net-new business within targeted sectors
- Conduct client meetings, site surveys, and product demonstrations
- Prepare comprehensive quotations and proposals aligned with client requirements

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in field sales, account management, or business development specifically within CCTV
- Additional experience within telecoms, security, or networking solutions is also beneficial.
- Good understanding of CCTV (including Hikvision), IP networking, Wi-Fi, VoIP, or access control systems (technical knowledge advantageous)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid full UK driving licence
Preferred but not Essential: Industry certifications or previous experience in the security or telecoms sectors.
