They are looking for an enthusiastic cloud focussed specialist with a passion for customer service with previous experience of working within the ICT sector, preferably in an IT Delivery or IT Manager role. You will be responsible for leading a team of IT delivery engineers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment where team morale and culture are paramount.
- Develop and implement training programs and initiatives to support the ongoing professional development of team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Champion a customer-centric approach to service delivery, ensuring that customer satisfaction is prioritised in all interactions and that the team is empowered to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and goals, providing strategic guidance and recommending technology solutions that align with their objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for service enhancements and innovations that will benefit both our clients and our team.
- Work closely with our IT Project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Work alongside the IT delivery engineers to deliver IT projects. (Typical projects include Email migrations, Firewall installations, Email Threat Protection implementation).
- Create documentation and knowledge base articles to assist users in resolving common issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with end-users.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Job Experience Required:
- Have an ICT background within an MSP with experience of leading a team.
- Solid experience in customer service (excellent verbal and written communication skills required).
- Technical expertise in IT infrastructure and systems administration, with proficiency in networking, security, and cloud technologies.
- Essential experience with Microsoft 365, Premise based servers, virtualisation technologies, SharePoint, Azure, Backup Solutions and security firewalls.
- Loves working as part of a team.
- Comfortable with using CRMs and documentation solutions.
- Holds a Full UK valid driving license.
