About You

  • Extensive understanding of the accident repair industry, vehicle legislation, and trade practices as an MET, Panel or Paint Technician with ideally workshop controller or supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of Health & Safety, including PPE provisions and Risk Assessments, and the ability to lead a team of technicians in a fast‑paced environment while producing compliant, high‑quality workmanship.
  • Computer literate with excellent interpersonal, communication, and time‑management skills, able to work under pressure and motivate the team.

About The Job

  • Clean driving licence required.
  • Responsible for day‑to‑day operation of the workshop, leading and performance‑managing a team of technicians to maximise workflow and productivity, ensuring repairs are completed timely and accurately with the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Assist with technical challenges and provide general support to technicians when required.
  • Ensure company working practices are monitored for health and safety regulations and that safe working practices are adhered to within the workshop. Conduct quality control and inspection with a keen eye for detail to meet manufacturer standards.

Benefits

  • Salary: up to £45,000 per annum, subject to skills and experience.
  • Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:00 – 16:30 (42 hours – flexible working with an earlier start to set up the workshop).
