Perfect Moment is a high-end luxury brand rooted in performance, fashion, and lifestyle. As we expand our global footprint and broaden our collections beyond winter sports, we are building a merchandising function that combines strong creative intuition with rigorous data-driven decision-making.
Role Overview
This role will lead the global merchandising function, driving the strategic alignment between product design, consumer demand, and commercial performance. This role requires a balance offashion sensibilityandanalytical rigor— ensuring that the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time, reaches the right market.
Key Responsibilities
Merchandising Strategy & Leadership
- Define and lead the global merchandising strategy across categories (outerwear, apparel, accessories, lifestyle).
- Partner with Design, Product Development, and Sales to ensure product line architecture meets brand and market objectives.
- Build and maintain a seasonal assortment plan aligned with financial goals, consumer needs, and market opportunities.
- Establish pricing strategies and competitive positioning across regions (EU, US, Asia).
Commercial Planning & Forecasting
- Develop seasonal sales forecasts in collaboration with Sales and Finance, informed by historical performance and market data.
- Monitor sell-through performance, inventory levels, and margin delivery to drive in-season adjustments.
- Lead preseason buy reviews and support wholesale partners with data-based recommendations.
Data & Market Analytics
- Analyze internal and external data (sell-through, market trends, competitor benchmarks, consumer insights) to guide product and assortment decisions.
- Build reporting tools and dashboards to provide clear visibility into performance (e.g., sales by style, channel, region).
- Use predictive analytics and scenario planning to optimize future buys and reduce inventory risk.
- Manage and develop a small merchandising team, ensuring best practices in process and analysis.
- Act as the “bridge” between creative (Design/PD) and commercial (Sales/Finance) teams.
- Champion a data-driven mindset across the organization while maintaining sensitivity to brand identity and luxury positioning.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8–10+ years of merchandising experience in a luxury or premium fashion company.
- Proven track record in assortment planning, forecasting, and line architecture.
- Strong analytical skillswith advanced Excel; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
- Knowledge of global retail structures, pricing strategies, and consumer dynamics across EU, US, and Asia.
- Excellent communication skills; able to present complex analysis in a clear, actionable way.
- Leadership experience: ability to coach and grow a team, while collaborating cross-functionally.
