Reports to: Head of Sales & Business Development
The role involves leading the digital function of the business in digital marketing, eCommerce trading, DTC customer services, and digital development. The candidate should have strong trading and digital marketing experience to handle Perfect Moment’s peak winter trading period. A hands-on approach with a proven track record in eCommerce management, digital marketing, data analytics, and a passion for driving customer-centric innovation is required.
Key responsibilities:- eCommerce Trade & Reporting:
- Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
- Analyse and report on key eCommerce metrics and key customer metrics.
- Leverage analytics tools (GA4 and CRM reporting) to monitor, track, and report on KPIs for eCommerce activities.
- Use data to inform decisions around product pricing, inventory management, promotions, and marketing tactics.
- Implement the eCommerce strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage the development agency to deliver the digital roadmap of eCommerce initiatives and wider business projects.
- Lead on cross-functional projects from an eCommerce perspective and ensure system integrations are managed to the project timeline aligning to a DTC customer proposition.
- Manage the budget for the development agency and other 3rd parties for the running of the digital business.
- Collaborate with the brand marketing team to develop and deliver digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the website.
- Manage relationships and budget with key agency partners for paid search, SEO, paid social, affiliates, and display advertising.
- Manage delivery of the content strategy to support the SEO roadmap with on-site updates with the support of freelance copywriter.
- Manage the CRM strategy with the wider eCommerce team across email and customer service touchpoints.
- Manage the CS Assistant to ensure all contact is answered appropriately within SLAs.
- Wider reporting to the business on Perfect Moment customer sentiment and experience.
- Project work to enhance user experience and KPI measurement on success.
- Lead and mentor the eCommerce team, including eCommerce Manager, eCommerce Executive & Customer Service Assistant.
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and logistics teams to ensure alignment and integration of eCommerce with broader company strategies.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in eCommerce leadership, including experience with website management, digital marketing, and development projects.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (Commerce tools experience would be of benefit).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, email, paid social).
- Experience managing a team and collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, IT, and logistics teams.
- Data-driven approach with proficiency in GA4, A/B testing, and other performance measurement tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with international eCommerce strategies and global market expansion (Experience with Global-e would be a benefit).
- Experience with ERP/OMS/WMS systems would be a benefit.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and web development.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and email marketing platforms (Ometria would be a benefit).
