Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a lovely opportunity for a professional and experienced Housekeeper to support a busy family of two adults and four children aged between 11 and 16 years old, residing in a substantial six-bedroom private residence in Sunningdale, near Ascot. This desirable area is well known for its elegant residential properties, green surroundings, and excellent local amenities, while remaining conveniently close to Ascot and London.
The family values a professional approach to cleaning and laundry care and is seeking a reliable Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining high standards within a well-run household. Working as a Housekeeper in a private family home requires a discreet, organised, and detail-oriented approach. In this role, the Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the property and ensuring laundry is cared for to a high standard.
The position involves working alongside a full-time Housekeeper, contributing to the smooth daily running of the household. No cooking or childcare duties are required, allowing the successful candidate to focus fully on housekeeping responsibilities within a high-end environment. This is a live-out position and is easily accessible by public transport, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates commuting from nearby areas. Sunningdale benefits from good transport links and local infrastructure, allowing for a straightforward and pleasant commute.

- Working Days: Three days a week, preferably Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, although flexibility may be agreed with the right candidate
- Working Hours: 18 hours per week, ideally between 9:00 and 15:00

Responsibilities include:
- Thorough cleaning and upkeep of a large six-bedroom private residence to a consistently high standard.
- Professional laundry care, including washing, ironing, and wardrobe organisation.
- Careful handling and cleaning of marble surfaces and valuable artworks, using appropriate methods and products.
- Working collaboratively with the full-time Housekeeper to ensure all housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently.
- Occasional assistance with pet-related duties for two cats and one dog, only if required and when the full-time Housekeeper is unavailable.
- Maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times within a family household environment.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
- Two excellent checkable references.
- Conversational English.
- UK working permit.
