A warm and welcoming international family is seeking an experienced Live-In Nanny to join their household in the heart of Notting Hill, one of London's most desirable and family-friendly neighbourhoods. The family comprises two Principals, a hands-on grandmother who resides nearby, and two delightful boys – aged two and a half, and aged one. The family maintains a structured yet relaxed routine and values a calm, nurturing environment for their children.
Notting Hill offers an exceptional quality of life, with Westbourne Grove's boutique shops, charming cafés, and the beautiful green spaces of Holland Park and Kensington Gardens all within easy reach. The property is a beautifully renovated four-storey townhouse, and the successful candidate will benefit from fantastic live-in accommodation on the lower ground floor, comprising a private bedroom with Jack and Jill bathroom and access to their own kitchen – a wonderful set-up for the right professional.
The family already employs a trusted Day Nanny, Cordelia, who has been with them for several years and knows the children intimately. The successful candidate will work closely alongside Day Nanny as part of a collaborative, supportive team, with additional help from the children's grandmother. The role demands someone who can provide attentive, sole-charge care when required, maintain the family's established routines, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children at all times.
A Live-In Nanny becomes an integral part of the family, supporting the Principals with all aspects of nursery duties, meal preparation for the children, and contributing to a happy, harmonious household. This position also involves light housekeeping duties and the flexibility to assist wherever needed – a true all-rounder who can adapt to the rhythm of family life. Only applicants with the right to work in the UK can be considered.
