Perfect Household Staff is actively searching for an energetic and experienced full-time live-in housekeeper couple to join a private residence in the picturesque area of Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire (WD3). This busy household comprises two adults, two children and seven dogs, including two very well-behaved Dobermans. The principals are seeking a highly organised, professional, and proactive couple who will take pride in maintaining their home to the highest standard. The family are very active but will be based out of the UK for at least nine months of the year. During this time, the housekeeper couple will be responsible for maintaining the property, ensuring it remains in excellent condition, and taking full care of the pets.
The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, with five working days per week, including some flexibility to accommodate household needs. The successful candidates must be comfortable around dogs and willing to provide pet care when required. A valid driving licence is a must for this role.
The housekeeper couple will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the five-bedroom home, a separate gym area, kitchen, dining area, and three guest rooms. While this is a busy family home, it is not a \”show home,\” and the principals require a couple who can manage the household effectively while respecting their privacy.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper Couple:

• Ensuring the house is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times
• General housekeeping duties, including deep cleaning and daily upkeep
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Making beds and changing linens
• Keeping all property areas clean and organised
• Organising cupboards, wardrobes, and drawers efficiently
• Vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces
• Packing and unpacking for the principals when required
• Pet care duties, including feeding, walking, and ensuring the well-being of all dogs
• Dog-sitting when the principals are away
• Driving duties as required
• Working with a high level of integrity and trustworthiness

Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper Couple Role:

• A minimum of three years of professional housekeeping experience
• Excellent checkable references
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Experience handling pets, particularly dogs
• A valid driving license
