The family consists of two parents and their two-year-old daughter, and they are seeking a flexible, discreet, and energetic professional who is excellent with children and enjoys supporting a busy household.

Belgravia is one of London’s most prestigious residential areas, known for its elegant garden squares, charming streets, and proximity to Hyde Park and some of London’s finest cafés, boutiques, and cultural landmarks. The family enjoys spending time outdoors with their daughter, regularly visiting nearby parks with the assistance of their chauffeur.

Working as a Mother’s Help (Nanny) in a private household requires patience, attentiveness, and a genuine love for working with young children. In this role, the successful candidate will support the lady of the house with day-to-day childcare and light household tasks. Duties include:

• Engaging the two-year-old girl in age‑appropriate activities.
• Accompanying her to parks and outings.
• Assisting with food preparation for the family, who enjoy healthy Western‑style steamed meals.

The Mother’s Help will work as part of an established household team that includes two housekeepers and a butler, ensuring a well‑organised and harmonious environment.

Main Details

• Working Days: Four to six days per week, by agreement with the candidate (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays required as a minimum)

Main Duties

• Supporting the mother with the daily care and supervision of the two‑year‑old child.
• Organising and engaging in age‑appropriate activities to support the child’s development.
• Accompanying the child on outings to nearby parks and outdoor activities with assistance from the family chauffeur.
• Assisting with the preparation of simple, healthy family meals, particularly Western‑style steamed dishes.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment for the child.
• Working collaboratively with the household team, including housekeepers and a butler.
• Demonstrating flexibility, discretion, and a positive attitude in a dynamic family environment.
• Supporting the smooth daily routine of the household when required.

Requirements

• Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
• Two excellent checkable references
• Conversational English
• UK working permit
