A warm, well-mannered family based in Battersea are seeking a professional and reliable live-out Housekeeper to join their household. The family home is a spacious property with six bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a patio garden, maintained by a gardener. The family also maintain a small two-bedroom flat in Chelsea, requiring housekeeping twice weekly.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced private Housekeeper who can work independently while following clear instructions from the household manager. The position involves general and deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, and ensuring the home is consistently well-presented. The role also includes light household support such as accepting deliveries, liaising with contractors (builders, gardeners), and occasional shoe polishing. The professional should be proactive, trustworthy, and happy to care for the family’s two friendly dogs, including occasional walks.

Working Hours: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm daily, plus 3 additional hours on Monday & Thursday afternoons (at a nearby Chelsea flat); 30 hours/week

Duties Include:
- General and deep cleaning across all areas of the home
- Laundry management, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
- Bed changing and linen care (dry-cleaners arranged for larger items)
- Pet care, including walking two small dogs and occasional feeding
- Accepting deliveries, supervising tradespeople, and household errands
- Maintaining outdoor patio and entrance area
- Weekly cleaning of a nearby Chelsea apartment (3 hours twice weekly)
- Supporting the smooth running of the home and reporting any household issues
Minimal Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a private Housekeeper in HNW households
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Conversational English + Spanish or Portuguese (bonus)
