The gentleman travels frequently for business, and his children visit him during weekends, making this a role that requires both consistency and flexibility. Lower Shiplake, set along the River Thames in Oxfordshire, is a charming village with beautiful countryside surroundings and excellent rail connections to Reading and London, making it a highly desirable and accessible location for professionals.
Working as a housekeeper cook in this residence requires someone who is able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation while also preparing simple, healthy English meals. The position suits a professional who is self-motivated, discreet, and experienced in managing household tasks independently, including coordinating contractors when required.
Responsibilities:
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management.
- Changing bed linens on a regular basis.
