Responsibilities

• General housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning
• Laundry management: washing, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
• Keeping the household running smoothly, including grocery shopping and stocking supplies
• Occasional light cooking/meal preparation (mainly European cuisine)
• Pet care: walking, feeding, and providing companionship for 2 cocker spaniels; topping up food for cats
• House sitting and caretaking responsibilities when the family is abroad
• Ensuring the property is well-maintained, coordinating with tradespeople when required
• Flexibility to assist during guest visits (bed changes, household organisation, meal support)

Minimal Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a private Housekeeper in a similar role
• 2 excellent checkable references
• Conversational English
• UK working permit (EU visa/permit needed)
• Driving licence (manual; car provided for use)
• Love of animals and countryside living
