Perfect Household Staff is pleased to offer a wonderful opportunity for a skilled and dependable housekeeper to assist a friendly family living in a well-presented two-storey residence comprising four bedrooms and three bathrooms, situated in the picturesque village of Wisbech St Mary, close to the historic market town of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. The area provides a peaceful countryside lifestyle surrounded by attractive landscapes, while still being conveniently near local amenities.
The family owns a small dog, but it does not require any care from the housekeeper. There are also no childcare duties included in this role.
Providing housekeeping services within a private home requires a strong eye for detail, a discreet approach, and the ability to take initiative. The role will centre on ensuring the property is kept immaculately clean and well-organised, with particular focus on laundry, ironing, bathroom care, and seasonal or scheduled deep cleaning.
The principals are seeking someone who is both adaptable and trustworthy, capable of working independently and maintaining a welcoming and orderly household.

Main duties
- Thorough daily cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, hoovering, and mopping floors.
- Carrying out laundry and ironing of clothing, household linens, and towels, with care for delicate items.
- Managing the dishwasher and keeping the kitchen neat and orderly.
- Performing occasional deep cleans, with particular focus on bathrooms.
- Ensuring the property remains clean, tidy, and well-organised with minimal supervision.
- This position does not involve any cooking.
Requirements
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
- Two excellent checkable references.
- Conversational English.
- UK working permit.
