Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present asuperb opportunity for a trustworthy and independently thinking Housekeeper tosupport a relaxed family based in Parmoor, a peaceful rural area nearHenley-on-Thames in Buckinghamshire. Known for its picturesque countryside,elegant estates, and tranquil lifestyle, Parmoor offers an inviting workingenvironment, ideal for candidates who enjoy a calm and structured setting. Theprincipals, who have a newly renovated four-bedroom home, visit mainly duringthe summer months and on weekends. They also have a gentle 16-year-old smalldog requiring occasional care. Given the rural nature of the area, a drivinglicence and personal vehicle are essential.
Working as a professional Housekeeper in a privatefamily home involves ensuring that the property is maintained to an exceptionalstandard at all times. This position requires a flexible and proactiveindividual who can work independently, manage household tasks confidently, andsupport the smooth running of the home. The role includes cleaning finesurfaces such as wooden floors, wool carpets, and marble bathrooms, as well asassisting with household organisation and collaborating with the gardener tokeep the property in excellent order.

- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of a newly renovatedfour-bedroom home, ensuring all wooden floors, wool carpets, and marblesurfaces are properly cared for.
- Changing bed linens, making beds to a high standard, and managinghousehold laundry, including ironing.
- Overseeing household supplies, stock levels, and restocking as required.
- Working collaboratively with the gardener to support the smooth runningof the property.
- Managing the house independently while the principals are away, ensuringsecurity and order at all times.
- Providing occasional care for the family’s elderly small dog.
- Assisting with organisation and household tasks to maintain structureand efficiency.
- Driving to and from the property using a personal vehicle due to theremote location.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
- Two excellent checkable references.
- Conversational English.
- UK working permit.
- Driving licence and personal vehicle.
