This picturesque countryside location is well‑known for its rolling landscapes, traditional English villages, and peaceful environment, offering a warm and welcoming setting for a long‑term role.
The family consists of two adults and three children aged 5, 10, and 14, along with four friendly dogs cared by the dogwalker. The lady of the house works from home and is seeking a kind, organised, and pro‑active housekeeper who will become a valued part of the family and maintain the home to a high standard, particularly staying on top of washing and laundry.
Working as a Housekeeper in a busy family household requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a positive, flexible approach. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the home, managing laundry and ironing to a high standard, and ensuring the household runs smoothly on a daily basis. The position may also involve occasional babysitting and assisting with school drop‑offs and pick‑ups; therefore, a confident driver is essential. Main duties of the Full‑Time Housekeeper
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the four‑bedroom family home to a high standard.
- Managing all laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and ensuring garments are well cared for.
- Keeping on top of washing and ensuring a smooth laundry routine within the busy household.
- General housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and tidying all living areas.
