We are acting on behalf of a reputable law firm in Billericay seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their established team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced solicitor looking to work on a varied caseload within a supportive and client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise and manage a portfolio of private client matters including wills, estates and probate administration.
- Prepare last powers of attorney (LPAs) and deputyship applications.
- Draft, review and execute legal documents such as wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
- Liaise with clients, beneficiaries and third parties to ensure smooth progression of matters.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Support and mentor junior solicitors or paralegals where appropriate.
- Keep abreast of changes in private client law and related regulations.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with relevant experience in private client work.
- Strong knowledge of wills, probate, LPAs, trusts and estate planning.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a caseload independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Proficient in legal case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
