Hours: 8.30am 5.30pm, with some flexibility
Salary: £12.71 per hour
We are looking for a reliable and friendly part-time van driver to join our team, delivering bathroom products to building sites and customers in the local area.
This is a 3-day-per-week position, working every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The position would suit a retired or semi-retired person.
The Role
The main responsibilities will include:
- Driving a company van to deliver bathroom products to building sites and customers.
- Loading and unloading bathroom products safely.
- Carrying products into properties and onto building sites where required.
- Checking deliveries and ensuring goods arrive safely and in good condition.
- Obtaining delivery signatures where required.
- Keeping the van clean and tidy.
- Representing the company in a professional and friendly manner when dealing with customers and site staff.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A reliable and responsible driver with a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and carrying bathroom products, some of which can be heavy.
- Friendly, polite and presentable when dealing with customers and tradespeople.
- Punctual, organised and dependable.
- Careful with products and able to take pride in delivering goods safely.
