I am looking for a right-hand analyst/associate to join me in acquiring a single, successful UK private company.
This is not a typical finance role where you sit behind a screen building models or making slides.
This is working in entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA).
You will work directly with me in a dedicated private office in Islington.
Your goal is to help me find, evaluate, and buy a business.
The work is high-reward, but it is not glamorous.
You must be ready to roll up your sleeves.
This is a perfect opportunity to learn how to identify and generate leads, how to design B2B campaigns to get attention and learn from the ground up how to build a team that functions with high performance.
- You will build the pipeline. This means generating leads, cleaning data, and crafting outreach campaigns.
- You will write personalised letters and emails to business owners. You will pick up the phone and cold call CEOs. You will handle rejection and keep going.
- When a specific opportunity arises, you will evaluate the industry, the P&L, and help structure the valuation.
- You will manage the CRM, organise meetings, and ensure the deal machine runs without friction.
- You will learn about different industries and niches, and be able to spot opportunities and develop judgement.
I am looking for grit, motivation and accountability.
- 1-2 years of professional experience or internships in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or a high-growth Startup or similar
- Strong academic background from a reputable university.
- Conscientious, hungry and low-ego. You have high agency. You don't wait to be told how to solve a problem. You are willing to go the extra mile.
- Not afraid of cold calling or hearing NO.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Willing to work 5 days a week in the office.
What I Offer
- Mentorship: You will sit next to me every day. You will learn how to buy a company from scratch.
- Career
Trajectory: This is a launchpad.
Successful analysts often transition into a senior operating role (Chief of Staff / Head of Ops) within the acquired company, or go on to raise their own Search Fund.
- Base salary + performance bonus linked to deal milestones
