The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Supply Chain team based in Norwich. This role will provide an effective and economic service to our stakeholders, including both offshore installations and our Onshore Terminals at Bacton & Dimlington and any other SNS site/plant.
The successful individual will need to demonstrate flexibility in their approach and provide attention to detail in their work to proactively find solutions to Operational needs.
Reporting to the Procurement Team Leader this role will be based in our Norwich office, working Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities Include:
β’ Sourcing best price and delivery for all goods/materials ensuring competitive prices are sought
β’ Provide customer focused support in the areas of purchasing of materials and services in support all UK locations as necessary.
β’ Benchmark and negotiate goods and services involving rental and labour ensuring competitive prices are sought from existing and new vendors. Compliant with site requirements and QSHE policies.
β’ Accurate preparation and issue of all purchase orders.
β’ Maintain commercial awareness and understanding of terms and conditions.
β’ Understanding of supplier relationship management and associated systems.
β’ Maintenance of supplier records and associated systems management.
β’ Experience in supplier qualification process elements.
β’ Ensure Materials and services are delivered to meet asset plan and budgets.
β’ Onboard new suppliers via the Group compliance portals.
β’ Ensure that all certification and documentation is provided as part of the delivery process.
β’ Assist with audits of key suppliers to ensure QHSE is being delivered through the correct process.
β’ To extract data from SAP and turn into reports for management on Procurement activity.
β’ Utilise SAP ERP system to report on procurement and project activities
β’ Proven history of utilising purchasing data to further improve strategic sourcing.
Qualifications & Experience:
β’ An understanding of Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
β’ Working knowledge of SAP Procurement System desirable
β’ MCIPS or relevant experience within a similar role desirable
β’ Previous Oil & Gas industry experience would be an advantage
