Key Responsibilities
- Project Scheduling & Timeline Management: Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules (e.g., using MS Project, Primavera P6). Break down scope into tasks, milestones, and deliverables. Sequence activities logically to show dependencies, constraints, and critical path.
- Critical Path Analysis & Forecasting: Identify the critical path and regularly analyse schedule impacts. Provide schedule forecasts, scenario modelling, and what-if analyses. Recommend recovery plans when timelines slip.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule. Update schedules with actuals (percentage complete, resource usage, delays). Produce schedule dashboards, performance reports, and variance analysis for stakeholders.
- Resource Planning & Allocation: Coordinate with teams to capture accurate resource requirements. Ensure resource availability matches project needs. Highlight resource conflicts and inefficiencies.
