As a permanent employee of Peregrine, with access to our standard benefits, you will be deployed across our client portfolio as a specialist consultant, working on complex projects across multiple industries.
The Role:
As a Scrum Master, you will work within a team, managing business demands, coordinating product specifications, and resolving potential issues.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure project goals, scope, and product domains are understood by all team members.
- Remove blockers and help the team improve processes to prevent future issues.
- Implement Agile and Scrum best practices.
- Coordinate product specifications, sprints, meetings, demos, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Track progress and resolve potential issues.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum principles.
- Estimate deliverables for each iteration using reliable sources.
- Assist in writing effective user stories and breaking them into subtasks.
- Coordinate release processes with other departments.
- Help the Product Owner prepare the backlog for upcoming sprints.
- Monitor and address impediments to ensure delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality standards.
- Document progress and communicate with management and stakeholders.
- Work with Test Lead to ensure appropriate testing of user stories.
- Produce sprint reports, such as burn down charts, burn up charts, and velocity metrics.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of SAFe framework
