The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Project Support Officer to support the PMO in the rollout of the Automation Centre Tooling project which will support the effective delivery of projects and reporting of management information.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management knowledge, advanced data analysis capabilities, and experience working with various project management or CRM tools. While familiarity with ServiceNow is advantageous, transferable skills from tools such as Salesforce, Jira, Smartsheet, will also be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor project metrics and performance
- Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other tools to analyse and visualise data for reporting
- Prepare management information (MI) reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership
Project Management Support:
- Track and report on project progress, risks, and dependencies
- Support governance processes, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, recording minutes, and following up on actions
Tool and System Management:
- Manage workflows and data within project management tools or CRMs, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Transition and implement ServiceNow for project management activities (training provided if needed)
- Leverage experience with platforms such as Jira, Salesforce, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or Tableau.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Act as the primary contact for queries related to project documentation, timelines, and updates
Skills & Experience:
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualisation.
- Familiarity with project management or CRM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce, or similar
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable
Project Management Expertise:
- Understanding of project methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
