The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for an SC Cleared professional, to deliver a major People Transformation Programme to modernise how it manages performance, pay, and talent. We’re seeking an experienced Performance Management Specialist to lead the design and implementation of a new framework that connects performance, reward, and skills – helping to build a more transparent, fair, and high-performing culture. This is a strategic consulting assignment, ideal for someone who has successfully designed and delivered performance and reward frameworks in large, complex organisations.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the current state: Review existing performance and pay processes, policies, and tools; identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Design the new framework: Develop a fit-for-purpose model linking performance, skills, and reward; ensure alignment with the business's broader people strategy.
- Develop the implementation roadmap: Define the delivery approach, milestones, governance, and change-management plan.
- Engage stakeholders: Run workshops and engagement sessions with senior leaders and managers to support cultural adoption and build capability.
- Advise and influence: Provide evidence-based recommendations, benchmarking against best practice, and articulate risks and dependencies.
- Knowledge transfer: Build internal capability to maintain and evolve the framework post-implementation.
